Crayon Ponyfish is a small indie game studio that was founded on November 7, 2011. The studio was originally named Redcoat Games, but changed to their familiar Crayon Ponyfish name on March 31, 2015. The two founders of the studio, Jade Lockwood and Bryan Stuckey, have been working to bring the stories of the Dream to the world for years. They started their work together with the game Echoes of Chaos, an exciting tale about the purging of the dream city Underlight, which was a yearlong chapter of the Underlight MMO series. Since then, they’ve devoted themselves to work on a single-player story that would help get others into the world and eventually lead back to an immersive open-world, open-story online experience. That story is called Lotia.

Our mission is to provide games with a rich story and a play style similar to our favorite games that we grow up with such as Final Fantasy, Secret of Mana, Ultima, Dungeons and Dragons, and of course, The Legend of Zelda. We seek to tell our stories with a lot of depth but also tying in some much needed humor, and we are inspired by the incredible works of The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, The Wheel of Time, Big Trouble in Little China, and The Princess Bride.
